On the tape, Romney explains that his electoral strategy involves writing off nearly half the country as unmovable Obama voters. As Romney explains, 47 percent of Americans “believe that they are victims.” He laments: “I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.” So what’s the upshot? “My job is not to worry about those people,” he says…
Giving up before you even try? Not willing to get your hards dirty and take the hard road?
These are not the qualities that I seek in a leader.
Hand the race over to a Republican candidate who actually gives a shit about 100% of this country’s population instead of 53% of it. I would have way more respect for the party if they said, “Hey, we made a mistake and we don’t want another campaign like 2008. Let’s turn this around and find someone we can work with. Let’s do this the right way.”
If you’re not worried about me now, Mitt, then worry about me on November 6. Then we’ll see who plays the victimized card first.
